These light bulbs come equipped with dusk-to-dawn photo sensors. To test their functionality properly, wait until nighttime. A common misconception is that the bulbs are malfunctioning when they're tested during the day. If you require the lights to operate during daylight hours, opt for models without the auto on/off sensors.
Selecting the Right LED Bulb: Base, Shape, and Dimensions
Ensure the bulb base matches your light fixture and can fit inside the enclosure, if applicable. This model has a standard E26 medium screw base with a 26mm diameter. The shape is a standard A19 (A60 in Europe), with a diameter of 2.36 inches and a length of 4.25 inches.
Keep in mind that the photo sensor may be affected by other nearby light sources, especially if there are two bulbs within 3 feet of each other.

Light Temperature: Amber Glow
These LED bulbs produce a 2000K light temperature, which is an amber (yellow/orange) color, sometimes called "ultra-warm." This is a dimmer tone than the traditional warm white/soft white range of 2700-3000K, making it unsuitable for tasks like reading.
Even at the same output power and luminosity, the 2000K ultra-warm lights will appear much dimmer than the warmer 2700-3000K bulbs. Please consider the desired light color before making a purchase.
